Ernest was born & raised in East Orange, NJ, where his love for club music/house music began. He has been DJ’ing since 1988, hitting the decks for the first time while attending high school in Virginia. After graduating from college, Ernest returned to New Jersey, where he took part in the launch of KLUBNUT.com. At the end of 2004, he moved to the DC metro area, and has been spinning at various parties in the DC area since the move.
Since 2008, Ernest has taken part in two collaborative efforts in hosting & promoting events in the DC area, the “Liberal Party” from 2008 – 2010 and “Motions” from 2012 – 2013. In 2014, he started hosting & promoting his own party, “Klubnut.com presents”, which includes the “Strictly 4 the Dance Floor” series.
